Hollywood’s favorite bachelor, George Clooney, is a married man! Clooney, 53, and British lawyer Amal Alamuddin, 36, are officially husband and wife! The couple said, “I do” for the second time on Monday, Sept. 29, at Venice’s Palazzo Ca’Loredan, an official council building were a civil ceremony was conducted in accordance with Italy’s laws.
The couple were married over the weekend on Saturday, Sept. 27, in a lavish ceremony at Venice’s stunning, seven-star Aman Canal Grande Hotel. Monday’s civil ceremony tops off the couple’s weekend-long wedding celebrations in Venice. Celebrity friends such as Anna Wintour, Cindy Crawford, Bill Murray, and Matt Damon to name a few, jetted into the Italian city to celebrate with the couple.
The gorgeous couple were all smiles over the weekend while making one stylish appearance after another leading up to the wedding and even afterwards as they stepped out for the first time as husband and wife. We all agree that Mrs. Clooney’s glamorous style is one to watch and is destined to be a new favorite of the fashion set.
Now that the civil ceremony has finished, Mr. and Mrs. Clooney will likely take off for their honeymoon soon. We can’t wait to see where they turn up next!
