It was a natural choice that this NYC couple, both orginally from California, would want to get married in the Golden State. After doing their research on several potential venues, they chose breathtaking Flood Mansion.
This modern city couple had a classic and contemporary style that echoed throughout their wedding planning process. Not wanting to be disappointed in the future by their colors of choice, they decided on a neutral color palette that would stand the test of time. The bride, unable to settle with a traditional white dress, longed for something contemporary and classic but at the same time, craved for something unexpected. She found exactly what she was looking for in a lovely Carolina Herrera dress with draping and just a hint of color.
Captured through the lens of Josh Gruetzmacher, the couple pulled off a memorable and elegant celebration of their love with family and friends. The happy couple’s advice to other couples in the midst of planning their own weddings? “Don’t overcomplicate the details. Hit the easy button. Decide on your priorities. Decide on your vendors ASAP. Step back for a moment and take it all in.”
