The long-awaited day has finally arrived. The former American Actress, Meghan Markle is set to tie the knot with her true love, Prince Harry of Wales, in the United Kingdom. The celebrity couple has been all over the media, trending as they are set to officially wed in an elegant wedding ceremony that will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, United Kingdom. The beautiful hymn Stand By Me will be among those hymns that will be sang as the lovebirds tie the knot today declaring their love before God and men. Other hymns that will be sang include one that was sang during the late Princess Diana’s funeral, Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer. Lady Jane Fellowes, the late Princess Diana’s sister will also give a reading during the church service.
More like a tradition, the princess-to-be, Meghan is not going to promise to submit in obedience to the Prince just like the Duchess of Cambridge when she got married to Prince William in 2011 and so did Prince Harry’s mother in 1981 when she was tying the knot with the Prince of Wale.
The order of service at the St. Georges Chapel, Reverend Michael Curry who is the head of the Episcopal Church in The United States is scheduled to deliver the sermon. This is in acknowledgment of the transatlantic nature of the wedding ceremony.
According to the order of service that was released, Mr Thomas Markle, Meghan Markle’s father will be absent. It was announced that Megan would make a grand entrance into the chapel by herself then Prince Charles would take Mr Markle’s place and walk the beautiful bride down the aisle.
Meghan, the Royal bride-to-be arrived yesterday at the Cliveden House Hotel with her mother, to spend the final night before her big day after spending the afternoon with Her Royal Highness, the Queen.
