After meeting at a charity football match in 1997, Spice Girl Victoria Adams married football star David Beckham in a royal-themed wedding complete with His and Hers thrones. The power couple got married on July 4, 1999 at Luttrellstown Castle, in Ireland where their four-month old son Brooklyn played the role of the ring bearer.
To complement her £60,000 [$96,00] Vera Wang fairytale dress, Victoria Beckham wore a lavish gold and diamond crown. The crown was designed especially for Victoria’s wedding by acclaimed jeweler, Slim Barrett, an Irish born jewellery artist and master metalworker whose high profile roster of clients includes Princess Diana, Mick Jagger, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Chanel, Versace, Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, to name a few.
The ‘East of Paris’ regal coronet which is valued at £18,000-£25,000 or $29,000-$40,000 will be auctioned by International Auctioneers and Valuers, Bonhams, on December 5. We’re predicting all Posh Spice fans will be queuing for their turn with the stunning crown.
The coronet is described as:
